Actress Angela Okorie was re-arrested this afternoon by the FCT police shortly after her release from the Suleja Correctional Center.
Her re-arrest followed a petition from a businesswoman claiming that Angela owes her N5 million and has refused to pay.
A close actress friend, aware of the debt, persuaded the businesswoman to file the petition, which led to her rearrest.

There are reports that she might be detained today.
Previously, on January 26, Angela was arrested in Lagos and transported to Abuja, where she was arraigned in the Federal High Court on charges of Cyberstalking and Cyberbullying, based on a petition from colleague Mercy Johnson Okojie.
The court ordered her remand in Suleja Correctional Center until her bail hearing. On January 30, a bail of N5 million was granted with one surety, a level 13 civil servant, who must provide an affidavit of means, appointment letter, and recent promotion letter.
The court mandated the surety to submit two passport photos and verified residence details. After fulfilling these conditions today, Angela was released from the correctional center but was immediately re-arrested by the FCT police.
