Tuition Hire: Many Feared Dead As Security Operatives Shoot Students During Protest In Kaduna

Numerous students from Kaduna State College of Education, Gidan Waya, Jema’a local government area in Kaduna state, were shot dead by security officers on Monday.

Students were protesting the rising tuition fees, when security officers attempted to use force to disperse them.

“We went out to protest the increased tuition fees when we met security guards outside. They started shooting at us, some of our colleagues are dead now, ” an eye witness revealed.

According to source some students were also arrested and taken away by the police.
