Sad: Ex-Kano State Governor Ahmed Makarfi’s Son Died in Car Crash Today

Faisal Ahmed Makarfi, the eldest son of former Kaduna State Governor Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, tragically passed away in a car accident on October 12, 2024. The accident occurred along the Kaduna-Zaria highway. Faisal was rushed to a hospital, but he was declared dead upon arrival. His father was at the hospital when the body was brought in, and burial arrangements are underway.

Faisal was a civil engineer who had studied at the University of Greenwich in London, where he completed both undergraduate and master’s degrees and was pursuing a PhD. His untimely death has drawn condolences from various figures, including former Senator Shehu Sani.
