“TWO THINGS APPEARING AS ONE” – FLESH AND THE SPIRIT

Originally, it was a clay before God breath through the nose of the statue (Clay) and the clay became flesh. Meaning that it was the life of God that made the flesh to be functioning. John 6: verse 63 says: it is the spirit that is Life-Giving; the flesh is of no use at all. Flesh is so useless to the things of the Spirit. Flesh will always go contrary to the things of the Spirit. And man’s spirit have no any other place to dwell than in this flesh. Spirit and Flesh always against each other. They are just contrary to each other. When the man’s spirit is willing to do the will of God, the flesh want to do is own things (Fleshly Desire/ immorality) which sweet the flesh but bitter to the spirit. Matthew 26: vs 41 Says: …. “The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Talking about man serving or walking in the path of God. Is talking about Flesh and the Spirit that against each other but acting or appearing as single one body physically but deep inside they are two different things. Many of us (Christians) has once confessed Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savour. We shunned fleshly desire and made a pledge never to sin again. We did baptism (Died and Resurrected with Jesus). We became new persons in the body of Christ. But as the journey keep on going many started living the old life we already shunned, knowingly or unknowingly to us. Why?, it is the flesh ruling us still. It will continue to rule many of us if the Man’s spirit is yet to attract or receive the spirit of the Father (GOD). The Spirit of God is most pure Spirit that’s why it is called “Holy Spirit”. The Breathe Of Life God breathe through the nose of the Statue (Man) was so
Pure and in the breath Of Life which was from God in it was the man’s Spirit and that was the spirit that made man or the Statue a living soul.

But during the encounter of our first mother (Eve) with the Satan in the garden of Eden. Satan was able to weaken and polluted the spirit. The moment Eve gave her attention to Satan, Satan started shooting arrows of Fleshly desire to her, Terrible Sexual urge, Disobedience Spirit and other evil spirits possessed her within that short period through the Serpent (Satan). Immediately the Serpent finished talking. Eve spiritual eyes was blindfolded and her physical eyes was enhanced to see sin, she saw sin , she embraced sin, she desired sin and she quickly committed sin. Genesis 3:vs 6 says: Consequently, the woman saw that the tree was good for food (sin immediately became food to the flesh). And that it was something desirable to the eyes, (Since that moment human eyes enjoying seeing immoral things.) Yes, the tree was pleasing to look at (Naked body or Naked pictures or Private Parts are pleasing to look at). Still in the vs 6: So she began taking of its fruit and eating it. Afterward, she also gave some to her husband when he was with her, and he began eating it. Verse 7 says: Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized that they were naked…. This is the foundational problem of our flesh. And we all inherited these from our first mother (Eve). Our flesh had fallen through our first mother into the hand of Satan. And that is why God said the flesh must return to the ground where it was taken once the man’s spirit leaves the body. Your Spirit is real you. You are from God through HIS breath but living in the flesh (Clay).

Satan knows how much your flesh is weak that is why he will do everything to make you look rejected before God and debar you from receiving Holy Spirit that will make you Strong and better before God.

Know this, Before that incident happened. man’s spirit was able to stands God, any time God visited them(Adam&Eve) in the garden of Eden but thereafter, no man sees God and live again. Except Moses, and God helped him in the process. God used cloud to covered HIMSELF. Moses did not see HIS Full being. That was the grace given to Moses. In the garden of Eden before sin was committed God appeared to them without covering HIMSELF with cloud or something else. If not for the sin that was allowed and committed by our first mother and first father, you can imagine how strong and powerful we would have been on earth and before God till today. But sin and flesh has made us what we are today.

Yet Glory be to God and Jesus Christ for their unending love towards us. Jesus Christ came, died and resurrected for our sins and sent us Holy Spirit the suppressor of the flesh to allow our spirit being to be able to live to please God and do HIS will to gain everlasting life. Halleluyah!! May God’s Name be praised forever.

Without having or receiving The Spirit of God properly, flesh will continue to rule us. Fleshly desire will dominate us day and night. And we will be doing things according to the desire of the flesh.
That’s why:
To be humbled as a Christian we claimed to be, will be so difficult.
To Forgive will become a serious problem and great fight within our hearts.
To flee from sins will be so difficult.
To help the needy will be an issue.
To say the Truth will be a difficult things.
To Love our neighbors as ourselves will be seen as unnecessary.
To live moderate and talk politely will be so difficult.
To verify the truth in any matter as the Bible commanded us, will be a difficult thing.
To obey and practise the word of God we are hearing or preaching will be so difficult Etc. Simply because we are too far away from the holy Spirit, who supposed to be our guidance, instructor and flesh suppressor.

Jesus Christ knew we can not live to please God or do His will accordingly without receiving HOLY SPIRIT. That was why he promised us holy Spirit and Holy Spirit came. ACTS CHAPTER 2.

Confessing Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior and being baptized without receiving Holy Spirit before or after the confession and baptism, It is going to be a dangerous and shameful Journey. Receiving Holy Spirit as Christians is receiving power to suppress the power of flesh and bowing down the influence or fleshly desire of the flesh. That’s when we can be free from the ruling of the flesh.
Read Acts 2: vs 1 – 4. Verse 4 says: and they all became filled with holy spirit and started to speak in different languages, just as the spirit enabled them to speak. (I encourage You to read to the end. ) verse 37 and 38 read thus: Now when they heard this, they were stabbed to the heart, and they said to Peter and the rest of the apostles: “Men and brothers, what should we do?” Peter said to them: “Repent, and let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the free gift of the holy spirit.

After Accepting or confessing Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour, and being baptized what follows is receiving the holy spirit. It is very possible to receive holy spirit before water baptism that actually depends on your level of your fellowship with God and Genuineness. The case of brother Cornelius, an army officer but devout man who feared God together with all his household established the fact and the possibility of receiving holy spirit before baptism. Acts 10: 44-48 read thus: While Peter was still speaking about these matters, the holy spirit came upon all those hearing the word. And the circumcised believers who had come with Peter were amazed, because the free gift of the holy spirit was being poured out also on people of the nations.(The Gentiles). For they heard them speaking in foreign languages and magnifying God. Then Peter responded: “Can anyone deny water to prevent these from being baptized who have received the holy spirit just as we have?” With that he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.

Dear Believer reader, At this junction you will reason and agree with me that there are reasons for many of us to Reaccept Jesus Christ, Reconfess Jesus Christ as our Lord and saviour, Rebaptize and receive HOLY SPIRIT and start our Spiritual Journey Afresh.

Failure to do this especially those who is concerned, many will die in sins and without a genuine salvation. Take the bold step now and represent yourself before God through Jesus Christ who died for our sins and resurrected for us to enjoy undeserved Kindness of God and gain everlasting Life purchased by Jesus Christ through His Blood.
John 3: 5-6 says: Jesus answered: Most truly I say to you, unless anyone is born from water and spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God. Vs 6: What has been born from the flesh is flesh, and what has been born from the spirit it is spirit.

Stop continue living in sin, don’t run from God but run back to God through Jesus Christ the saviour. John 14: vs 6 read thus; Jesus said to him “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father(GOD) except through me”.

LIVING WITHOUT HOLY SPIRIT, IS LIVING FOR HELL FIRE. THE FRUIT OF THE FLESH ARE THE FACTORS TAKING SOULS TO HELL FIRE.

MEDITATE ON THIS, AS MEDITATION BRING REVELATION.

REPENT, ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST TODAY AND RECEIVE HOLY SPIRIT GENUINELY FOR THE SALVATION OF YOUR SOUL. HELL IS REAL.
