How Former Kennies Music Artist, Joe-EL Was Allegedly Assaulted in Lagos

According to social media reports, artist Joe-EL had a shocking experience after showing up for an appearance at a popular lounge in the Oshodi-Ajao Estate area of Lagos.

According to multiple sources, Joe-EL honoured the invite and spent several hours at the venue as agreed. But when it was time to leave, things allegedly took a wild turn. The lounge’s management reportedly didn’t want him to go, supposedly because his presence was bringing in more customers.

Joe-EL, however, wasn’t having it. He insisted on leaving, and that’s when things allegedly got ugly. Unverified reports claim that security personnel at the lounge attacked him, and by the time help arrived, he had already sustained serious injuries.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors assessed the damage. Some reports say he has since been transferred for emergency treatment.

His ex-Kennis Music label mate, Jaywon, is demanding answers and calling for a thorough investigation.
