Access Bank, through its W Initiative has partnered with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs onthe50 Million Women Speak Projectwith ECOWASdesigned to empower women in business acrossAfricaon skills required to build sustainable businesses.
The W Initiative is thehome of everything Access Bank has to offer women. Itis a brand dedicated toinspiring, connecting and empoweringwomen across every stage of their lives either as women in business, women and family or young professionals.
Theinitiativehas identified the importanceofboosting one’s businesswhile leveragingtechnology and digitalplatforms.Hence, the partnership withthe Federal Ministry of Women Affairs on its 50 Million Women Speak Project with ECOWASwillboostthe economic empowerment of women through the provision of acapacity building andnetworking platformsthatwill provide access to informationon financial and non-financial services.

The pioneerprogramwas held in Lagos on the 29thofJuly 2019withmore than 100women in attendancewhilethesubsequent trainings will cut acrossthesix regions in Nigeria.
One of the beneficiaries of the pioneer programandCEO Nanny Academy,Mrs.AmaraAgbim,said,“the program is expository and has provided me with latest information and skills on how to market my business and expand my reach across Africa”
