The Residence of the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is on Fire

There was a fire outbreak at the private residence of Dr Mariya Mahmoud, the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

As per the information received, the incident was first reported at a residence located in the upscale neighborhood of Asokoro in Abuja on the afternoon of February 25th, 2024.

According to reports, the firefighters did not respond to the incident promptly, which led to a deterioration of the situation.

Mr. Austine Elemue, the media aide to the minister, confirmed the fire outbreak and stated that the cause of the incident was under investigation.
