The gunmen who rode in Tundra operational vehicles shot indiscriminately, forcing people to scamper for safety.

Gunmen purportedly enforcing a botched sit-at-home order on Friday afternoon attacked parts of Owerri, Mbaitoli and environs in Imo State.

The gunmen struck at different locations and killed a policeman, Prince Iheme, the elder brother of Nollywood superstar Osita Iheme, popularly known as Pawpaw.

On the other hand, Aloy Ejimakor, one of the lawyers of the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, has lamented the attack on his hometown in Imo State.

He conveyed a video on his Twitter handle on Friday, showing burning properties.
