Popular Lagos-based Comic-Singer, Mukaila Senwele, known for “Koni Da Fun Ebo To Se Costay,” is Dead

Mukaila Senwele, a Lagos-based comic musician of Ilorin origin renowned for his iconic phrase “Koni da fun ebo to se Costay,” has kicked the bucket.

It has been reported by a family member that the artist Mukaila Senwele passed away on Friday. He was from the Esinrogunjo family compound in Ilorin West, Kwara State, and was well-loved for his captivating performances and unique style of entertainment.

Mukaila had not shown any signs of illness before his sudden death. According to family source, Senwele had been enjoying time with his fans earlier that day and had promised to visit the family home later in the evening.

Tragically, they received an emergency call about his passing while he was with his fans. When they arrived at the location, Mukaila’s brother and some others immediately tried to take him to the hospital, but sadly, he did not survive.

He passed away just moments before the family was informed, and his funeral prayers have been scheduled for Saturday morning.
