NDLEA UNCOVERS PARKISTAN DRUG ROUTE TO LAGOS

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, has uncovered a new route for movement of hard drugs such as Tramadol and Codeine into the country.

The new route is from Pakistan via Europe to Lagos.

A statement by the Head Public Affairs, NDLEA, Mr. John Achema, reveals that a forty feet container loaded with banned drugs was discovered at the Brawl Terminal in Lagos. Enlere ND investigations also revealed that two hundred fifty five cartons of different types of Tramadol and other banned drugs were found in the container.

Mr. Achema promised that the agency would continue to carry out its statutory mandate of combating illicit drug trafficking and abuse, in the country.
