K1 DE ULTIMATE, OTHERS SET TO HONOUR SIKIRU AYINDE BARRISTER AT MAIDEN COLLOQUIUM

Arrangements have been concluded to host the maiden edition of the Sikiru Ayinde Barrister (SAB) Colloquium in Lagos.

According to a statement released by the organisers, the Colloquium, is a partnership between the Mayegun of Yorubaland, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1 de Ultimate), the family of Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, Fuji musicians, Fuji music lovers and fans, corporate bodies and others well-wishers, to celebrate the significant contribution of the late Fuji pioneer, Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister (MFR).

The maiden edition of the Sikiru Ayinde Barrister Colloquium themed, “Fuji Music: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow-The Impact of Sikiru Ayinde Barrister is billed to hold on Wednesday, 16th of March, 2022 at Radisson Blu GRA Ikeja, Lagos by 10:00 am.

Other partners of the historic event, include Isolo Local Council Development Area and Fuji Musicians Association of Nigeria (FUMAN), Fuji Opera, Supa Komando, The Temple Company and GoldmyneTV.

Guest Speakers at the the Colloquium will be Dr. Muiz Adeyemi Banire(SAN) and Professor Jelili Ojuade

Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, credited as the pioneer of the popular Fuji music genre, died in London on 16th December. 2010.
