Former President Muhammadu Buhari has passed away in a clinic in London, United Kingdom. Garba Shehu, his spokesperson, confirmed the news on Sunday via a post on X.
“The family of the former president has announced the passing of Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London. May Allah grant him eternal peace in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amen,” he communicated.
The former president was 82 years old at the time of his death.
