Ace Radio Presenter, Abiodun Oropo Dies

It was a black celebration in the entertainment industry in Nigeria as one of the prolific, talented, and ace radio presenters, Alhaji Ismail Abiodun Oropo (also known as ‘Oyinlomo Jo Joo) kicked the bucket.

Oropo died yesterday evening (Sallah Day). The cause of his death is yet unknown at the time of this press release.

During his career, he produced and anchored numerous programmes on Radio Stations across Southwest, Nigeria.

Alhaji Abiodun Oropo was a major presenter at Radio Lagos, Faaji FM and a host of other Radio Stations.

He had large followers and listeners across the southwest in Nigeria and abroad.

Oropo was a Music Promoter and also he produced movies for the Nollywood.

The On-Air Personality won several awards in recognition of the quality of his programmes and professionalism.

The Successful Showbiz was buried 12noon yesterday, Sunday 10th, 2022 at his residence in Agege local government area of Lagos.

Oropo is survived by a wife and children.
