Veteran Nollywood actor, Yomi Fash Lanso has gathered his colleagues and friends to distribute food items to over 500 household in Lagos.

The initiative was carried out through the COVID-19 Food Support powered by WhoYouHelp Social Foundation.

According to Fash Lanso; the foundation has been involved in humanitarian support to Nigerians across the country and its imperative at this time to come to the rescue of vulnerable Nigerians.

“We are mobilizing artists as much as possible to feed 500 people a day and it is not that we have a lot of money but we are looking for ways to lessen the effect of sit at home directives on halpless Nigerians”.

Yomi also revealed and called on the government to control commodity prices, noting that many men and women in the market have increased food prices due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

This humanitarian activity witness the presence of Toyin Alausa, Taiwo Hassan, Funsho Adeolu, Ekechi Blessing to mention a few.
