Call him; cat with nine lives and I say you are not mistaken. His humble beginning was despises by many before becoming a millionaire, then he became a taxi driver in Ikeja and now his story is changing for the better.

He uses to own chain of businesses in both Lagos and Benin. Gordon Press, Soul Publications – publisher of rested popular romance magazine, Hearts, Gordon Security to mention a few.

His impact and contribution towards the capital city, Lagos state, Ikeja, won him the Majekobaje of Ikeja, an accolade well deserved.

‘Goddy’ as fondly called, was the toast of town during his days in the social circle through the 80s 90s and the early 2000s before his story changed.

Anabor, who purchased his then, Alabi Crescent mansion beside late MKO Abiola’s house in Ikeja without pricing it is a cheerful giver.

His monthly beauty pageants show – ‘Queen of Hearts’ speaks more of his person as suitcases of Dollars, Pounds and Euros were always given to his friends depending on their country of visit to spray at the event.

The likes of Sir Shina Peters, Pasuma, Dele Taiwo to mention a few serenades the audience during this period.

However, in the blink of an eye, the story of a billionaire changed. His mansion was gone, all his precious exotic automobile went up in the air, ranging from Hummer 1, Jaguar, Rolls Royce Phantom, Moving House, to his mansion on Issac John, the magnificent building of Alabi Crescent, Ibix Hotel in Benin, Gordon Press (the largest printing press in Nigeria at the time) to name a few, all gone before we could say jack Robison.

A few years later, Goddy was spotted driving a taxi to Ikeja and the news went viral immediately, thou, there was no picture to prove it. News also have it that, he lives at Akute, Ogun state due to rent.

However, seem the cat is back and this time, he’s back for good. Godwin Anabor was spotted this weekend at the celebration of London businessman Boye Lawal, who celebrated his mother’s 95th birthday.

His entrance was magnificent and all eyes were on him. The party held at the Civic Center Ado Ekiti had other dignitaries, but everything was focused on Anabor who continued to spray the musician of the day nonstop. For many present, it was a way to signal his return to the social world.

Meanwhile, his peers expect him to attend more social events to confirm his return.
