Nigerian Arrested With 513 Grams Of Heroin In Delhi

Delhi’s Dwarka District Police has achieved a big success. In fact, an African citizen has been arrested in the international market with 513 grams of heroin worth Rs ₹5 crore.

The accused named Nnamdi Ilias Akabueze is a resident of Nigeria. After the arrest, DCP Shankar Chaudhary of Dwarka district told newsmen that the African citizen had come to India illegally from Bangladesh in the year 2019 and had been supplying drugs since then.

He said that on November 15, the Narcotics Team of Dwarka district got information that a large consignment of drugs was about to arrive in the Mohan Garden area, the police also had information that an African would bring this consignment of drugs. Based on this information, the police laid a trap. As soon as the Nigerian citizen reached Mohan Garden in the afternoon, he was nabbed by the Narcotics team of Dwarka Police. When this African citizen was searched, the police recovered 513 grams of heroin on him.

According to the police, the value of the recovered heroin is Rs 5 crore in the international market. 

The Police official also told those present that the police team is continuously interrogating it and trying to trace other people involved in the racket.
