Breaking: Oyo State Gov., Makinde Dissolves Cabinet

Governor Seyi Makinde has today dissolved the Oyo State Executive Council and relieved other political appointees of their appointment

The decision, our Correspondent learnt was conveyed to members of the council shortly after the Excos meeting some hours ago

Sources within the government hinted that the Governor has been on the matter since last week.

Though details were still sketchy as at the time of filing this report, the Governor was said to have been dissatisfied with the performances of some of them, while others did not do well in terms of relating with their people.

Our Correspondent learnt that about seven of the commissioners may not return.
